British legend and award – winning surrealist comedian Bill Bailey, one of the top and most loved comics for years, is about to hit Athens with his latest new ambitious comedy at Megaron Athens Concert Hall on Saturday 2nd April, 2022.
ow did we get here? How do we find our way through this? And exactly who are we again?
In this new show, Strictly Come Dancing’s newest star tries to see a way through the weird unreality of our new world. Tracing lines through chaotic moments in our past, Bill seeks out parallels where human resilience and our ability to endure has got us through times of strife.
He recounts his own experiences of dealing with isolation, including his thoughts on the ‘sounds of lockdown’. Through music, songs, and memories, Bill considers (among many other things!) our changing priorities, the wonder of dogs, how little things can keep you on track and his new-found love of skydiving.
EN ROUTE TO NORMAL is not just a funny, heart-warming mix of stories, music and history, but a personal mission to chart a course through these Strange Days!

Venue Covid Restrictions
Megaron, the Athens Concert Hall, prioritises the safety of its audience and its personnel, and applies all the necessary precautionary measures against the spread of Covid-19 in all areas.
Specifically, for events held at Megaron, the following measures are in place:
- The audience is requested to be at the venue at least an hour before the beginning of the performance, and to follow the instructions given by Megaron staff to exit the venue and to maintain social distancing.
- To enter the venue, for people over 12 years old it is mandatory that you present a Covid-19 vaccination certificate or a recovery certificate (issued 30 days after the first positive test and valid until 90 days after the first test). The certificates have to be printed or shown on a mobile device to the Megaron staff, who check their validity through the Covid Free GR app. You will also need to present an official ID or passport so that the name can be cross-referenced.
- Wearing non-surgical face protection masks is mandatory when entering the venue, throughout the performance, and when exiting the venue for both audience and staff.
